Visit to Mystic Seaport and Museum

Mystic Seaport: Tuesday, May 14, 11 am
My number is 401.338.9007
Expenses of this field trip (admission, lunch) are covered by the Rumowicz Seminar in Literature and the Sea.
Read: the list and schedule of daily activities. We can follow our interests.
Dress for New England’s mercurial weather — tomorrow the forecast is for a high of 51, clouds and some wind with a small chance of rain. Dress warmly, bring a raincoat and sunblock/hat/sunglasses (because you never know!)
We may participate in activities: wear shoes and clothing that you can move easily in — these activities are the daily work of sailors.
Park at the North Parking lot (if you are coming from RI on I-95, this will be the first lot you see.
Meet at the North Entrance Visitor Reception Center (Thompson Exhibition Building) for ticket purchase.
Plan to eat at noon (both the higher end restaurant and the tavern will be closed. The Galley has excellent Fish & Chips, chowder and other typical grill food. If you come early there is coffee in the cafe in the gift shop closest to the South parking lot and entrance.
